Comments and suggestions[edit]
Speak thru me[edit]
- Anonymous has commented, "the facing persons are not talking just staring at each other".
Apertium's got balls[edit]
- Anonymous has commented, "the red on white text does not read well".
- Anonymous commented, "looks too much like a strepsils advert"
- Looks too much like an analgesic advert. --Aimaz 19:44, 19 August 2007 (BST)
Corporativa generica[edit]
- Easily defaceable with an 'r'. Not the message we want to send.
Open window/door[edit]
- Anonymous has commented, "the window one has a good idea behind it, but it wasn't implemented right, so it just looks like a picture and not a logo".
Open box[edit]
- It has been said that it is "too wikipedia".
- Does not convey translation.
- Could be modified so that some words seem to enter in a language and get out in other languages. Entering / getting out could be confused, no problem (bidirectional).
Black & white[edit]
- I like the second one down. But could do with more colour. - Francis Tyers 22:11, 19 August 2007 (BST)
- It reminds me of the Black Flag logo http://www.paradox1x.org/para_images/black-flag-bars.jpg --Aimaz 17:40, 20 August 2007 (BST)
- Thats not an altogether bad thing I guess :) - Francis Tyers 10:10, 21 August 2007 (BST)
- I like the first one, I think its a good logo Xavivars 19:30, 20 August 2007 (BST)
Tower of Babel[edit]
- I like the one with 'apertium' written below in blue. The others, not so sure. Also, looks a bit more like a mountain than a tower? - Francis Tyers 13:47, 25 August 2007 (BST)
- A bit creationist, isn't it? But perhaps is good to "evangelize" people on apertium. --Sortiz 08:56, 27 August 2007 (BST)
- Not at all, think about it, the Tower of Babel story/myth is about people with a common language communicating and working together to realise a technological and scientific goal, and then "God" comes and smites them for daring to better themselves! Apertium could be about restoring the lost communication :D - Francis Tyers 11:27, 27 August 2007 (BST)
