lat-eng Regression Tests

This is a list of Latin → English regression tests. It is currently a work in progress.

Verb Tenses and Conjugations

Standard Verbs

(lat) amare → love

(lat) Ille amat. → He loves. (present)

(lat) Ille amabat. → He was loving. (imperfect)

(lat) Ille amabit. → He will love. (future)

(lat) Ille amavit. → He has loved. (perfect)

(lat) Ille amaverat. → He had loved. (pluperfect)

(lat) lle amaverit. → He will have loved. (future perfect)

'To Be' Verbs

(lat) esse → be

(lat) Ille est. → He is. (present)

(lat) Ille erat. → He was being. (imperfect)

(lat) Ille erit. → He will be. (future)

(lat) Ille fuit. → He has been. (perfect)

(lat) Ille fuerat. → He had been. (pluperfect)

(lat) lle fuerit. → He will have been. (future perfect)

(lat) Ille futurus. → He is going to be. (future participle)
