New machine translation system between Slovenian and Bosnian/Croatian/Montenegrin/Serbian

The free/open-source project Apertium [1] provides a platform for developers around the world to develop machine translation systems for any language pair. Unlike most modern machine translation systems, which require huge amounts of sentences and their translations to be trained on, systems developed on Apertium use dictionaries and rules written by experts, which can then be used to build other machine translation systems.

This time, Filip Petkovsky and Hrvoje Peradin >check this< have put together the first rule-based machine translation system that translates between Slovenian and Bosnian/Croatian/Montenegrin/Serbian >say where it can be tested, downloaded, etc< . It can be particularly useful for Croatian now that Croatia has joined the EU as of July 1.

>say something about its comparison with google<
