Hello/Bon dia/Bonjorn/Bonjour,

I am Claudi Balaguer (User: Capsot). I am specialized in Romance languages, more specifically on Occitan and Catalan dialectology. My native languages are Catalan (more precisely Valencian Catalan) and French. I have a good command of other Romance languages (Spanish and Italian) and English. I can speak and understand to some extent Ukrainian.

Experience with Occitan

My knowledge of Occitan is rather good since I have been working with/in it for a few decades (I was born a long time ago..., I am 49 currently! :) ). I taught in the Occitan Calandreta school and high school system and coauthored a Catalan-Occitan/Occitan-Catalan dictionary (2005) with Patrici Pojada.
