Diacritic marks

Both the apertium-es-ro and apertium-ca-ro language pairs use the Unicode code points for 'ț' and 'ș' (that is 't' and 's' with comma) which supported by the Romanian Academy in place of 't' and 's' with cedilla. These are supported in most operating systems, apart from Microsoft™'s Windows™ operating systems prior to Windows™ Vista™. We would however discourage the use of non-free software and encourage a switch to a free operating system such as a distribution of GNU/Linux.
