Hey there, I speak and write English English (or if you like European English), and this Wiki is generally written with that in mind. I'd not heard American English called International English before! The question of spell checking is a matter of your browser settings, so when I type "realise" it is not underlined, but if I type "traveled" it is underlined (frequently American English uses one 'l' in place of the two in my English). Anyway, I suspect that both variants are quite well understood, the Wiki is multilingual (as you can see from the front page), so please consider writing in whichever variant you feel more comfortable with :)
