About Me

I am student at the National Institute of Technology Warangal, India. The field of artificial intelligence and machine translation greatly fascinates me. Therefore, I have recently started to develop the English(EN)-Nepali(NE) language pair in Apertium. Previously Mr. Jacob Nordfalk and Mr. Laxmi Khatiwada had developed the basics of the language pair. I aim to develop it further as a part if my ongoing internship at the Language Technology Kendra Nepal(a consortium of linguists from Madan Puraskar Pustalaya,Tribhuvan University and Computer Scientists from Kathmandu University). Furthermore, as I am completely new to the world of Computational Linguistic and Machine Translations, I shall be looking for active community help to complete the task I have undertaken.

Also, previously I had worked a very little with the target Nepali-Hindi language pair. Though due to my poor understanding of Hindi and clash with my academic University exams, I had to eventually give up. Also I changed my nick from NepaliKoChoro to Warangalite.
